Annie Hartnett will discuss her latest novel, The Road to Tender Hearts, sharing insights into her writing process, the inspiration behind the book, and the themes that shape her work. Following the conversation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session and meet the author at a book signing. Whether you're a longtime fan or discovering her work for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with one of today's most engaging literary voices.

About the author:

Annie Hartnett is the award-winning author of three novels: Rabbit Cake, Unlikely Animals, and the national bestseller The Road to Tender Hearts, which won the 2025 New England Book Award for fiction, is currently longlisted for the Massachusetts Book Award, was named a best book of 2025 from NPR, LitHub, and Southern Living, and has been translated into over a dozen languages. Along with the writer Tessa Fontaine, she co-runs Accountability Workshops for writers, helping writers commit to routines and embrace the long, slow, joyful, terrible process of doing the work. She lives in Massachusetts with her pretty good husband, perfect daughter, and two flawless rescue dogs, Willie Nelson and Minnie Mouse.
